This innovative instrument uses the Phase Focus Virtual Lens® method to provide highly sensitive, precise analysis of power and thickness of soft contact lenses in their hydrated state.
The Phase focus Lens Profiler will allow researchers Dr Klaus Ehrmann and Dr Fabian Conrad, to further advance their work in the optical design of novel soft contact lenses. The Lens Profiler instrument is unique in that it measures thickness, oxygen transmissibility and power of hydrated contact lenses in one instrument, and sets a new standard for soft contact lens metrology.
