Launch of the new Phasefocus website
Researchers at Cornell University have used ptychography to achieve the highest resolution ever produced in an electron microscope. The team, led by David Muller, Professor of Applied and Engineering Physics, recently reported their findings in the July 19th issue of Nature [1], outlining their ability to resolve images to a resolution of 0.39 Å.
Scientists in North America can now benefit from the high contrast, label-free, live cell imaging provided by Livecyte™, following the appointment of Bulldog Bio as the Phasefocus™ distributor for USA and Canada.
Phasefocus™ continues with its global extension programme with the appointment of ATA Scientific Instruments as its official distributor for Australia and New Zealand. This market expansion is a direct response to the scientific community’s growing interest in Livecyte™, the company’s flagship cell imaging and analysis system which provides users with greater insight into biological processes.
Phasefocus continues to increase its global international profile with the appointment of Nuohai Life Sciences as the company’s exclusive distributor for mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.
Phasefocus™ will be attending the ASCB/EMBO meeting in Philadelphia, from 2-6th December, 2017 where Dr Rakesh Suman will be presenting a poster outlining the benefits of quantitative live cell imaging with the Livecyte Cell Imaging & Analysis system.
Following a successful funding application, staff at the University of Manchester, Wellcome Trust Centre for Cell Matrix Research, have become the proud owners of a Livecyte™ Cell Imaging & Analysis System.
The Translational Research Institute (TRI), Brisbane has become the first centre in Australia and the Asia Pacific region to adopt the Livecyte™ Cell Imaging and Analysis system.
Dr Kurt Anderson of the Light Microscopy Science Technology Platform at the Francis Crick Institute in London, UK has invested in a Phasefocus Livecyte quantitative lable-free live cell imaging system.
